As well as providing general medical services, the practice also offers the following:
Family Planning including an injection service, Menopause, Cervical Screening, CHD, Hypertension, Asthma, COPD and Diabetes Monitoring, coronary heart disease advice, Travel Advice and Joint Injections.
Childhood Immunisations are routinely given at:
2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 12 to 13 months and 3 to 4 years.
This is a booked appointment clinic. Please book an appointment with the Reception.
Minor ailments services (in association with our local pharmacies).
Child health, smoking cessation, health promotion and dietary advice.
Yellow Fever
The surgery is a UK Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre for this area. Please note that this is chargeable for all patients, whether registered with us or not.
Travel Immunisation
For those travelling abroad, please ask about the appropriate preparations and recommended vaccinations; most of which can be given at the surgery.we offer full travel vaccinations and travel health advice, including Meningitis Vaccination (ACWY) for Saudi Arabia. Please note that this is chargeable for all patients, whether registered with us or not.
Fees for Private Services
For example: Insurance forms, medicals, private sick / fit notes, Yellow Fever and ACWY. The details are displayed on our notice board.
Health Checks
We offer and encourage patients to have health checks.
New patients – as soon as you register with us.
Patients over the age of 75 – once a year, unless you are being seen regularly.
All patients – every 3 years, if you have not been seen for another reason.
Free NHS health checks are available for patients aged between 40 to 74 years. Please check with the receptions staff and GP to see if you are eligible. The NHS health check can help to prevent heart disease, stroke, diabetes and kidney disease.
